Adult Continuing Education

Adult Confirmation (Evening Classes)

  • This program is designed for those adults who have been baptized in the Catholic Church, but have not received the Sacrament of Confirmation or First Communion.  There are classes in English and classes in Spanish.  Both English and Spanish classes are held on Tuesday and begin in September.  Registration for these classes are held at the same time as regular Religious Education registration.

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) (Evening Classes)

  • Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults is a communal process for formal initiation of new members into the Roman Catholic Church which provides adults an opportunity to study, explore, participate in faith sharing, and faith formation.  It is a process in which adults undergo conversion as they study the Gospel, profess faith in Jesus and the Catholic Church, and receive the sacraments.  RCIA is designed for adults who are not baptized who desire to be fully initiated into the Roman Catholic Church and/or baptized adult Christians who desire full communion in the Roman Catholic Church. Classes begin in August.
